Salon Policy

Let us know if you feel a braid is too tight and we will redo it immediately! What may feel tight for you may not be for another person. It is solely your responsibility to let us know during the braiding process when something feels too tight. Once your style is completed we will not be responsible for any discomfort. Please be advised that if you choose to take out a style it is at your sole discretion.

Please check your hair before leaving the salon. No refunds are offered once service is rendered. Payment is due prior to completion of service.

Payments

Cash is preferred for the remaining of services. Remaining balances paid with credit cards will incur a $3 processing fee. Payment is due prior to completion of service.

Telephone Usage

Kindly use your headphones for conversation and music. Using speakerphone is unacceptable in the salon.

Attention Parents

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the duration of services. If minors are left unattended full price is due for ALL additional changes.

Military Personnel

Please be reminded of military hair restrictions. There is a charge for adjustments in length or size, or you may have to pay full price for another service.

Style Selection

Kindly select your style wisely! Not every style suites everyone. Please be advised that unless there is an issue in the work that we have done, full payment will be collected and one style cannot be exchanged for another. If you do not like a style or there is an issue with the hair you have purchased, be advised that FULL price will be charged for another service. We can only make suggestions; at the end of the day we will perform the service you request.

Caution

Short hair: You need to come in for a consult if your hair is short (less than 4 inches) to ensure that we will be able to service you. In the event that you schedule an appointment and we are unable to grip it, your deposit will be forfeited.

Hair Allergies

Please be aware that synthetic hair may cause allergic reactions.

If any allergic reaction occurs, neither The Braid Lounge nor its employees will be held at fault. In the event that you decide not to keep the extensions, you are fully responsible for payment of services rendered. The charge for the removal of hair extensions is not included in the original service.

If you have any allergies to certain products you are welcome to bring your own.
